Each of the documents bears a signature and the date 22/9/81, the date of Barbara Hogan's arrest. This indicates that the documents could have been confiscated from Barbara Hogan by the security police. The documents have been numbered in red pen and include numbers 1, 9, 13, 16, 25-29, 31, 34 and 39-40. It would seem that most of these documents relate to Barbara Hogan's research for her MA thesis on unemployment in South Africa and include articles and numerous handwritten notes by Barbara Hogan. |
