A run-up project to the opening of Constitution Hill in March 2004, 'We the People' (WTP) (2003-2004) was a national outreach campaign with the aim to inform South Africans about the development at Constitution Hill and the opening of the new Constitutional Court on 21 March 2004, and to collect memorabilia and stories (past), reflections (present), aspirations and dreams (future) of ordinary South Africans, as well as from communities directly associated with constitution Hill (ex-prisoners and ex wardens). |
