This is a black and white photograph of Neil Aggett, courtesy of Johnnic Library. Date unknown. Following a massive spate of arrests of trade union leaders in 1981, Dr Neil Hudson Aggett was found hanged dead in his cell at 3.25 on the morning of 5 February 1982. This photograph is included in "Between Life and Death: Stories from John Vorster Square" - a DVD produced as part of this project.
