This drawing titled 'Portrait of a girl I never met, but would like to meet' was made by Dr Kantilal Naik on toilet paper during his detention. He was detained at John Vorster Square (JVS) from October 1971 to February 1972. This drawing is included in "Between Life and Death: Stories from John Vorster Square" - a DVD produced as part of the Sunday Times Heritage Project (STHP), 2007.
