This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of General Andrew Masondo, held in Johannesburg on 26 March 1998, pp.1-130.
This record discusses Andrew Masondo’s time as Commissar for the ANC in exile, particularly the issue of ‘Quatro’ prison camp otherwise known as Morris Seabelo Rehabilitation Centre. Many ANC and MK members who were believed to be spies were incarcerated, tortured or executed at Quatro.
This record was released by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ) in response to Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) request SAH-2013-DOJ-0003.
