Description:	This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of Jacobus Buchner, held in Durban on 16 July 1997. This inquiry covers large territory of Buchner's police career, including commentary on the formation of TREWITS; cross-border raids; the recruitment and training of "kitskonstabels" and the situation in Pietermaritzburg in the late 1980s. This record was released by the Department of Justice in response to Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) request SAH-2013-DOJ-0003. The first release of this record on 2015/01/12 had the final page missing. The subsequent release on 2015/12/17 by DOJ was a clean copy.
