This poster depicts how the Food and Allied Workers Union (FAWU) exposed the oppressive working conditions on a tea estate and how they demanded union recognition. The text reads “SAPEKOE FARMWORKERS : NO MONEY NO HOME” Digitised by Specialised Archival Solutions in 2009. Reproduced in "Images of Defiance: South African Resistance posters in the 1980s" on page 65 (number 113) of the 1991 SAHA / Ravan Press edition and the 2004 SAHA / STE Publishers edition.
