This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of SJ Visser, held in Johannesburg on 27 May 1997.
This record discusses S.J.Visser’s involvement in the death of Stanza Bopape and subsequent cover up. S J Visser was a member of the Security Branch for 25 years. The period in question Visser was the commanding officer o f the Eastern Transvaal Division of the security police. Visser was tasked with disposing of a body by General Erasmus. Inquiry attempts to understand structures of Security Police Branch.
