This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of Bonginkosi Simon Makhaye, held in Durban on 22 November 1996, pp.1-67.
It is a record of the questioning of Makhaye on his time as a police man within the security branch. Testimony is a translation. He worked in the Department of Bantu Affairs (DBA) and at Plessislaer police station. From there he transferred to the Security Branch where Makhaye was on a task force focused on investigating MK members.
This inquiry was conducted with the use of an interpreter. In the transcript only English is recorded.
This document was only received from DOJ with the third release of documents on 2015/12/17. Subsequently call number is not sequentially related to date like other documents in this collection.
