Description:	This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of Willem de Wet, held in Durban on 5 June 1997. This inquiry canvasses De Wet's career as a leader of one of the Riot Squads that were accused of kidnap, assault, murder and torture. He claims all allegations against him are false. This record was released by DOJ in response to Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) request SAH-2013-DOJ-0003. The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ) has applied redactions to p.5, p.9-11, p.35, p.49, p.50, p.52-54, p.57, p.61, p.69-71, p.78, p.82, p.85, p.97, p.103, p.116 and p.126-127 of the transcript. The subsequent release on 2015/12/17 by DOJ was a clean copy.
