This is a transcript of the TRC Section 29 in-camera inquiry of Wouter Jacobus Basson, held in Cape Town on 22 August 1997, pp. 1-146.
This record discusses Basson’s involvement with the Civil Cooperation Bureau (CCB). The CCB was a government sponsored death squad established in 1988. The structure and other members are examined in the testimony. Basson’s diary from 1989 is part of the evidence of the commission. Record discusses several projects of the CCB.
