This is a letter from E. Pretorius, Attorney General for SWA to the Chief Magistrate entitled 'The State vs Donald Acheson: Murder, Windhoek Case No. R 3163/89 P/E 3/90' regarding arraignment notice, dated 25 January 1990. Acheson was charged with murder for the assassination of Advocate Anton Lubowski on 12 September 1989. On the reverse side of the notice appears an undated Afrikaans newspaper article, titled "Slang-hul eis waarborg vir vryheid' which refers to the murder of Advocate Anton Lubowski and the subsequent trial of Donald Acheson. This record was released by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development in response to PAIA request SAH-2010-DOJ-0015. |
