This digital colour photograph of Moses Mzila-Ndlovu was taken by Mary Ndlovu during the interview she conducted with Ndlovu for the South African History Archive (SAHA) as part of the ZAPU/Zenzo Nkobi oral history project on 16.10.2011. A guerrilla fighter, Moses Mzila-Ndlovu talks in his interview about his early conscientisation, joining as a teacher and insisting on being trained to fight. He also describes his traveling to Angola and his training at Boma Camp by Cuban instructors, some activities in the front, the role of the Strela missiles in shifting the balance of power, the importance of the collective spirit and gives a positive assessment of ZPRA training.
