Derived from a black and white 35mm negative, this image of a ZPRA cadre crossing a river in flood using a rope was taken by Zenzo Nkobi in 1977. This negative was digitised by Africa Media Online (AMO) in 2009. A similar photograph appears in the publication 'Zimbabwe in the struggle: a contemporary documentation', published by the Zimbabwe African Peoples Union-Patriotic Front, circa 1978.
