Description: |
This is an offset litho poster and the text reads: "Cost of 1 stadium = cost of 60 000 houses: Who Benefits?". This was one of several creative posters produced by the Anti-Privatisation Forum (APF) and distributed widely in the two months leading up to the Soccer World Cup in July 2010. Many of the APF's community affiliates mobilised in their communities to highlight the vast amounts of public monies being spent on the World Cup infrastructure in the context of the widespread and continuing lack of basic services for the majority of South Africa's population.
