This poster is an offset litho in black, green and yellow, produced by the Screen Training Project (STP) for the United Democratic Front (UDF). This poster refers to the UDF celebrating the anniversary of the 1955 adoption of the Freedom Charter at the Congress of the People and how they called for the unbanning of the ANC. The text reads “Unban ANC! Freedom day June26: The Freedom charter for the People's power”. Digitised by Specialised Archival Solutions in 2009. Reproduced in "Images of Defiance: South African Resistance posters in the 1980s" on page 19 (number 22) of the 1991 SAHA / Ravan Press edition and the 2004 SAHA / STE Publishers edition. It also appears on page 115 of “Red on Black: The Story of the South African Poster Movement”, SAHA / STE Publishers, 2007.
